Frequently Asked Questions

Faux Flower Information

What are your flowers made from?

All our flowers are hand made from quality materials that are selected to ensure they look as realistic as possible. Some flowers are made from synthetic materials and some from a type of foam that helps each petal to hold its shape perfectly.

How do you make your flowers so realistic?

Our flowers are handmade and hand painted, making each one unique and very realistic. The stems are also made to reflect as close to nature as possible.

How do I care for my faux flowers & plants?

It is recommended that the flowers are kept dust free to prevent marks/staining. You can do this by lightly dusting or gently shaking the blooms. Alternatively you can use a hairdryer on the cool setting to blow away any dust particles. Do not get the flowers wet. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading over time.

Can my flowers be placed outside?

The flowers are not designed for outdoor use due to fading from sun exposure. However, they could be used outside for a short period, for example an outdoor dinner or event, and then brought back indoors afterwards. We cannot guarantee that no damage would occur.

What are the stems made of?

The stems have one or more soft wires that are wrapped in paper and finished with a layer of plastic. This means they can easily be bent to fit the height of your chosen vase and then straightened again if required.

How long will my artificial flowers last?

If well cared for, and in the right environment, there is no reason why your faux flowers wouldn't last for between 5 and 10 years.

How can I make my flowers smell real?

Our artificial flowers have no scent to them. However, we sell a range of beautifully scented soy wax candles that can create an aroma to suit your mood.

Vase Information

Do you sell vases?

At present we do not sell vases. However, we hope to stock them in the future as our business expands and grows.

Candle Information

How do I care for my candle?

Always place your candle on a heat resistant surface. Before burning your candle for the first time, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. Allow the top layer of max to fully melt across the diameter of the jar before extinguishing, to help the candle burn evenly. Trim loose or dead wick before relighting.

Are our candles safe?

Our candles are made in the UK and are externally lab tested. This means that they meet the requirements of the BS EN 15426:2018 and BS EN 15493:2019 for sooting behaviour and fire safety. This complies with CEN standards and helps show due diligence.
